Synopsis for "Where In The World Is Billy Batson? Part One"

Freddy, Mary, Hoppy and Tawny drive all over Philadelphia in search for clues that could help them find Billy. As much as he hates to admit it, Freedy misses being a superhero because he feels that he could do more to help his family. Hoppy senses a magical energy in an abandoned subway station and the group goes out to investigate, but they are attacked by a horde of monsters.

After trying to separate the Rock of Eternity from his plane of reality, Billy has awakened in another part of the subway station his friends have arrived at, with only the image of the Captain to keep him company. Shazam explains that the Rock is more than just a place that can be used to hold monsters and objects. It reacts to all kinds of magical energy and if the Rock landed somewhere near Philadelphia, there must be a reason. Billy doesn't feel worthy to be a superhero and believes the old Wizard should have chosen someone else but the Captain says that the old Wizard chose Billy for a reason, as well. Suddenly, Billy is attacked by one of the monsters attacking Freddy and Mary.

Mary transforms into Mary Marvel and fights the monsters, but Freddy is captured by the monsters, who also hold an entire train hostage. Freddy tries to stop the train while Mary summons a lightning bolt to incapacitate the monsters, but this leaves her weakened, until she is saved by Billy and an old friend, Uncle Marvel. Billy asks what is Mary doing her and she replies that she and Freddy have been looking everywhere for him, until Mary realizes that Freddy is missing.

Freddy is still onboard the train, trying to stop it, but suddenly, a mysterious girl hiding beneath a coat sprays the train with grafitti. The train disappears and Freddy is suddenly teleported into the lair of King Kull, leader of the Submen.
