Synopsis for "Welcome to our Overlords! Finale"

On the surface of Venus, Georgia Sivana continues to taunt and provoke Mary Marvel, who gets tired of Georgia's prattle and shoots her with a lightning bolt. Suddenly, a weird green creature crawls out of Georgia's left eye. It's Mr. Mind and he has taken control of Georgia. He has found a way to multiply and infect multiple human hosts, Georgia included. Even a duplicate of himself is within the Amber Lightning, the relic that now controls Freddy Freeman. Through the Lightning, Mind controls Freddy, as well.

Mind brags about how easy it was to control Freddy. Humans are naturally predisposed to hate and, deep down, Freddy always hated having to play second-fiddle to Billy. That's why Freddy asked the gods of Shazam to make him their champion and why he become handsome and without physical disabilities when he became the Commander. Those were his attempts to prove himself better than Billy. Freddy, ashamed of what his repressed jealousy has wrought, attempts to free himself but Mind says that it's too late for him.

Meanwhile, Billy confides his insecurities in Beau and tells her about the problems his family is facing. Beau replies that she can understand how Billy is feelings right now, for she believes that she killed her own mom. She found out her mother had cancer, but her mother didn't want her father to find out for fear that he would be worried. Bily tells Beau not to blame herself for her mother's death but Beau already knows that. She has taken steps to move on from that tragedy. Now, she has new friends and has even met someone as sweet as Billy. They kiss and Billy promises to take Beau out on a date when this is all over. First, he must save his brother.

Billy runs to the Commander, who is still under Mind's control, and asks Freddy to fight back. Freddy listens to Billy's words of encouragement and is visited by Hephaestus, who reveals the truth of the Amber Lightning. Long ago, when he found the green metal after his exile from Olympus, he met gods that had been exiled from their own pantheons. Inspired by their stories, Hephaestus forged the Amber Lightning and gave it to the old Wizard for safekeeping. Sooner or later, a mortal would find the Lightning and be judged for the way he used it. Now that Freddy has the relic, Hephaestus asks what he will do with it.

Freddy says the magic word and is released from Mind's control. Now, he has the strength of Samson, the skill of Hephaestus, the power of Odin the Allfather, the speed of Zagreus, the agility of Airgetlam and the cunning of Midas. Having earned the favor of new gods, the Commander and the Captain now stand as equals and defeat the Society's robot army together.

Unfortunately, that's not the end of the problems for the Shazam family. Back at the Society's towers, Mr. Mind, still possessing the bodies of Georgia and Beck Geist, is visited by Beau. Her sister, Georgia, only agreed to help Mr. Mind if she was in charge this entire operation, but Beau helped Mind possess Georgia as revenge for Georgia's constant blaming over the death of her mother. She helped the Society because Beautia Sivana sees herself as a monster, as well.

With the help of Georgia's latest invention, a machine that can turn matter into energy, Mr. Mind has send fragments of himself out into the Internet and infected multiple humans all over the world through the Society's app. As his conquest begins, Mr. Mind proclaims that gods, heroes and even his own people have tried to kill him, but he always survives, and when this is all over, he will be the only one that exists.
