The Granite Lady was an enemy of Plastic Man.

History

Sheila Sorrell was a singer in the Red Angel, a sleazy club, but she wanted more: she wanted to sing opera. Unfortunately, she wasn't much of a singer, and her agent refused to book her in an opera.

All the men in town were in love with her, but she turned them down. She became known as the granite lady for her cold behavior. One such unrequited love, Dr. Carlon, developed a serum that turned her skin to stone - she became an actual Granite Lady. She went crazy, and started robbing banks to finance her own operas.

When Plastic Man fed her an antidote, she couldn't remember a thing. Fortunately, all of her victims made a full recovery, and she was not indicted. The adventure had not changed her, though; she was still the same old granite lady.
