Shen Li-Men is The Doctor, an individual chosen by supernatural forces to guard and heal humanity.

History

One person is chosen every generation, and granted phenomenal powers to heal and aid, with the process going back farther than recorded history. Shen, being the Doctor of the modern era, found herself roped into an intergalactic conflict for the fate of the world. She worked with Jenny Sparks, Jack Hawksmoor, and later Angela Spica to help the world, and more pressingly help each other.

• Reality Alteration: Shen's role as the Doctor grants her a number of superhuman abilities that allow her to aid people and the world.

• Shen Li-Men was created by Jeff Mariotte and Ron Lim, first appearing in StormWatch Vol 1 28. However, in the Wild Storm continuity Shen Li-Men first appeared in The Wild Storm Vol 1 8 by Warren Ellis and Jon Davis-Hunt.
