Synopsis for "Cracks"

The Penguin kidnaps James Gordon's wife, then turns himself into the GCPD, demanding that he only be interrogated by Gordon alone. The two of them argue, while Gordon tries to figure out where his wife is, they also discuss the recent changes in Batman, unbeknownst to the them caused by his change in identity to Jean-Paul Valley after Bruce Wayne's back was broken by Bane during the events of "Knightfall". Brought to a rage by the Penguin's attempts to torment him, Gordon and the Penguin finally start fighting, leading to acts of police brutality on Gordon's part, reflective of the also recent violent changes in Batman. After punching him and even burning him with his own fancy cigarette, Gordon actually takes the Penguin onto the rooftop, where he threatens to drop him. The two are interrupted by Batman, who had in the meantime simply rescued Gordon's wife, choosing to ignore the Bat-Signal as it would only slow him down.
