Synopsis for "Fun and Games"

At 7:03 A.M., on a Monday before school, Sideways popped up in Ernie Edgars' bathroom unannounced, much to her annoyance. He explained that he couldn't wait to try on the costume she made. Then, Sideways displayed his strength to her before leaving through a rift when her twin sister Emie was outside of her door. Derek's adoptive parents waited twenty minutes for Derek to get ready and enter their car.

As Derek walked to Mrs. Grittle's class, he overheard another student recognize him as being in Gotham. Back in Gotham, Derek was walking with his adoptive mother to an interview for an internship when a wormhole opened in the sky before falling into the ground and being exposed to energy, then found himself on the other side of town. Back at school, Derek was still sitting down when the next class arrived. Ernie asked Derek to join her, although he declined and suited up as Sideways before starting a livestream on his phone. As he was recording, he heard a voice and rifted away to various different places to avoid it, although it followed him everywhere. He dropped his phone while fleeing the voice before he revealed himself and judged him a threat to the continued existence of the space-time brane and sentenced him to death.
