Silas Stone is currently the head researcher at the Science and Technology Advanced Research Laboratories, also known as S.T.A.R. Labs and the father of the superhero known as Cyborg.

Early Life

Silas met and fell in love with a woman named Elinore Beatty and eventually they got married before having a baby boy . As time went on, Silas continued to work and mainly ignored his son leaving Elinore to take care of him. In time, Elinore and Silas went up in ranks at STAR Laboratories and became head researchers.

However, during an experiment, Elinore was dosed with fatal energies and ended up developing cancer because of it. Silas looked to his work at STAR Labs to try and find a cure, at points Elinore also helped. He cloned himself 13 times. In doing this, Silas's relationship with his son got even more worse than it had already been as he paid no attention to him. However, despite everything he tried to do, Elinore ended up dying and Silas ordered the clones to be destroyed.

After the death of his wife, Silas grew even more distant as he buried himself in his work, destroying whatever he had left of the pitiful relationship with his son, especially as he was against his son's idea of becoming a football player.

Cyborg

Eventually when Victor comes to confront his father he is injured and Silas uses his vast knowledge and understanding to save Victor's life, stating that he couldn't lose him to. This shows us the guilt he has of not being able to save his wife. In doing so, Silas ends up saving the world from Darkseid's invasion as if he had not saved his son with the Motherbox (Fatherbox) technology then the Justice League would have never had a way to properly stop Darkseid.

After this, Silas becomes less of a workaholic and more of a father.
