Silken Spider (New Earth)

Silken Spider was a criminal known as the "World's Public Enemy No. 2". Her criminal activities earned such recognition, just below Dragonfly and above Tiger Moth. However, the three criminals were challenged by a new contender under the name of Poison Ivy, who managed to prove her superiority over the three criminals, becoming the most dangerous criminal of the lot.^[1]

Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985–86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
