Silver Horn King, also known as General Silver Trident, is an ancient demon and enemy of the Monkey King. He is the brother of Golden Horn King.
History
At some point Silver Horn King was imprisoned in a gourd. Black Manta obtained the gourd and hired Drs. Laura and Winston Shugel-Shen to release him from it. The Shugel-Shens had recently encountered Golden Horn King in Gotham City, and agreed to do it only if they could send Silver Horn King into a tiny hermit crab.[1]
The Shugel-Shens successfully freed Silver Horn King and transferred him into the crab. They also developed a device which allowed Black Manta to control him. The possessed crab grew to immense sizes, and Manta attempted to take it to Atlantis to battle Aquaman. However, his control device was damaged in a shootout with the Amnesty Bay Police Department on the way to the ocean and the crab went on a rampage. Monkey Prince exorcised Silver Horn King from the crab using a can of blessed soda, returning the crab to normal. In spirit form, Silver Horn King fled into the ocean, looking for a new host.[2]
Silver Horn King travelled to Atlantis seeking food, and stumbled across Aquaman confronting Monkey Prince and Pigsy at the base of Jingu Bang, grown to an immense size. He realised that Aquaman was the hero whose spirit he needed to consume.[3] A horde of Trench swept into the city, and battled Aquaman and a band of ancient Dragons. Silver Horn King held back until the Trench King was knocked out of the melee near his hiding place. Recognising a shared nature with the ravenous monster, Silver Horn King possessed the Trench King and attacked Aquaman. He drained some of the hero's qi but Monkey Prince used Jingu Bang to knock him out of his host before he could completely drain Aquaman. Silver Horn King fled, but had absorbed enough qi to assume a phsyical form, with long hair and scales across his chest like Aquaman's armour. He travelled to Flame Planet where he reunited with his brother and their master King Fire Bull.[4]
King Fire Bull assaulted Lazarus Island, the base of his arch-enemy Nezha. Nezha managed to escaped and the volcano on the island erupted, spreading Lazarus Resin around the world. Silver Horn King was sent to the Tower of Fate to retrieve Nezha's stash of stolen magical artifacts. He fought a band of heroes, including Power Girl, who had also been sent for the artifacts. He almost overpowered them with a band of mind-controlled wolves, but Power Girl eventually defeated him by dragging him into space.[5]

Weaknesses
- No Physical Body: (Formerly) Silver Horn King was initially trapped in spirit form, forcing him to possess a host to interact with the physical world.[2] However, he was able to assume physical form by absorbing some of Aquaman's qi.[4]
