Slim Pickins was an ordinary man from Gloomdale.
History
In the mid-1930s, Slim Pickins inherited a supposedly haunted house in Gloomdale from his late aunt Kate Pickins.[1] There he had an adventure in which he teamed up with a gorilla to defeat some counterfeiters, who were using the house as a base.[2] The gorilla ended up being a nuisance, but Pickins was able to return it to the circus from which it had escaped, and got a nice reward for doing so.[3]
Notes
- This version of Slim Pickins, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
