Synopsis for The Jester: "The Miles Kidnapping"

Wealthy Mr. Miles comes down to the precinct to get the police to stop looking into his daughter's kidnapping, because they've warned that any police interference will result in her death. To get around this obstacle, Officer Lane becomes the Jester, who isn't bound by police regulations. When Miles rides a train and throws the payment out the window when he sees the arranged signal, the Jester jumps off the back of the train and chases down the kidnapper. It turns out to have been Miles' butler, Miggins, behind the kidnapping.
