Synopsis for The Jester: "Dr. Mulgor's Science"
Gangsters try to steal high-tech weapons from Dr. Mulgor, an escapee from wartorn Europe. He's reluctant to create any such thing, with the remorse he feels over the Axis stealing his discoveries and using them to wage war. After capturing the crooks, the Jester convinces Mulgor that science is a powerful tool, and can be used to better life, not just destroy it, and Mulgor shouldn't give up his pursuits.
