Synopsis for Jester: "Stoolie Pete"

Stoolie Pete's kidnapped just before he's supposed to testify to get a man off a murder rap. Pete manages to leave clues by knocking over an apple cart and giving the proprietor $20 to buy MacIntosh apples, then going inside a diner and spilling all the crockery and giving the owner $20 to pay for it, saying he's called the China Clipper. Hearing this from the affected parties, the Jester figures out this means the kidnapper was MacIntosh the gangster, who has a hideout in Chinatown, and manages to get there in time to save Pete from getting ventilated by his captors.
