Synopsis for The Jester: "They Laugh Who Win"
McGinty "arrests" the Jester because the city council wants to give him a medal for his contributions to crime prevention, but he isn't serious enough to show up and receive it, which would make the award-givers look bad. Seeing the Jester being led away in cuffs, a trio of thieves figure the coast is clear to perform some big robberies they didn't dare to attempt with the Jester on the job. Hearing about the job being called into the precinct, the Jester slips away from McGinty to nab the crooks. Then returns to accept the medal and save McGinty from being harangued by the mayor.
