Snatch McGatt (Quality Universe)

Snatch McGatt was an enemy of Quicksilver.

Snatch McGatt fought with Quicksilver and lost after being spun around at high speed, being told to leave town. After McGatt informed Wizard Ward that he was being pursued by Quicksilver he was told to enter the annual boat race on Swan Lake. Betting on McGatt to win, Wizard Ward's men stretched a line under the lake to sabotage the other racers. Quicksilver quickly caught up to the saboteurs and defeated them, and then dove into the lake to stop McGatt's boat. Quicksilver grabbed McGatt's boat from underneath, tipped him into the water and launched him across the lake, causing him to skip like a stone into the arms of a policeman.


  • This version of Snatch McGatt, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–1986 crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the 2022-2023 crossover event Dark Crisis. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
