Solovar was the king of Gorilla City, who feared humans and only wished to be left alone.

History

When Grodd was brought to Earth-2 by The Flash, his plans of attacking Earth-1 were looked down upon by Solovar, who was able to easily dominate Grodd. When The Flash, Caitlin Snow, Cisco Ramon, and Julian Albert were captured by Grodd, The Flash was forced to fight Solovar in exchange for his and his friend's escape. The Flash defeated Solovar, but did not kill him like he was supposed to.
