The Phantom Lady was a member of the Freedom Fighters.
History
Sophia Becker's father was a lawyer who worked with for the cause of Nazism, with a particular focus on racial segregation and eugenics. Despite her privileged upbringing, Sophia disagreed with Nazi Party's beliefs and horrors. She rebelled against both her father and the Third Reich, taking up the mantle of Phantom Lady in honor of the fallen superheroine who fist opposed the Nazis decades ago. Armed with her black light bands, she joined up with the new generation of Freedom Fighters to topple the Nazi regime once and for all.

Trivia
- While not confirmed, Sophia Becker's surname implies it is possible that Sophia's familial heritage is a reference to August Becker, a real-life Nazi SS member and chemist who helped design gas chambers during World War II.[1]
