Special War Series was an anthology comic from Charlton Comics featuring war stories. Judomaster first appeared in issue #4. DC Comics bought Judomaster (but none of the other contents of Special War Series) from Charlton in 1983. The only issue of Special War Series indexed here is the one issue with Judomaster due to its relevance to the DC Universe.
