Synopsis for "House of the Secret Enemy"
Spectre answered the summons of the Lords of Order, who have instructed him to tell the rest of the mystical beings of Earth to avoid meddling in the upcoming invasion of Earth, as to preserve balance between Order and Chaos. Like this, Spectre summons all mystical beings to the Nevada desert, where he informs them about the Lords of Order's instructions. However, with all of them gathered, Spectre uses their help to put an end to an invasion of a different nature.
Spectre, alongside the rest of the mystical heroes locate the interdimensional portal that the beings who have been killing cattle are using to reach Earth. They enter the portal and rescue Bug McGrew, one of Corrigan's associates and afterwards, they seal the gateway, preventing any more of the strange interdimensional creatures from ever entering Earth again. However, once the situation has been solved, Deadman decides to ignore the Lords of Order's instructions and he goes to assist Earth's heroes against the upcoming invasion.

- This issue is an Invasion! First Strike extra, and a tie-in to the larger story told in the Invasion! miniseries. These crossovers take place in between Invasion! #1 and Invasion! #2, largely dealing with the Alien Alliance's assault on Earth and the way heroes around the world were participating in the initial war effort.
