Sportsmaster was a costume criminal who was sent to the flying prison known as the "Hall of Doom".

History

There, he joined the Non-Meta prison gang under Mister Zsasz.

When Heatwave staged a prison break, Sportsmaster assisted, getting his costume and his gear back. However, Eel O'Brian defied Heatwave's decision to crash the prison into the city of Detroit and, in retaliation, ripped Sportsmaster's heart out through his mouth.
