Trivia
- Stanley Manor is an obvious analogue/deconstruction of Bruce Wayne / Batman:
- Manor takes his name from the phrase "stately Wayne Manor"; Wayne Manor is Wayne's primary residence.
- Manor's parents were murdered in front of him when he was a child.
- Manor has a servant named Fredo (an analogue of Alfred Pennyworth).
- Manor is very wealthy and obsessed with bats and weaponry, and has an underground lair highly reminiscent of the Batcave.
- A priest provides Manor with "young wards", with his latest ward being named Tim (a reference to Robin and the fact that Tim Drake was the current Robin during Brian Azzarello's Hellblazer run).
