Synopsis for "The Plane-Eater!"

Continued from last issue....

Morgan and Mace are out at sea on a make-shift raft trying to make it back to base when they are attacked by a prehistoric sea monster. During the attack Morgan once more attempts to force Mace to go into action at gun point, still believing that Mace is a base coward. The duo are helped out by the Baby Dino whom befriended Mace during their escape from Dinosaur Island, and they manage to kill the monster by wrapping ammo belts lined with live grenades around the creatures neck, killing it in a tremendous explosion.

The Baby Dino is happy to see Mace again, however Morgan is less than trusting of the baby Pterodactyl and scares it off with a grenade. Soon after they find themselves trapped on the back of a gigantic turtle, however when they fail to kill the beast with a grenade, the Baby Dino returns again and drops a rock on it's head knocking the turtle out. The Baby Dino then grabs their raft and lifts them to high into the air, they soon realize that this is to avoid getting strafed by an approaching dog fight between US and Japanese fighter jets.

They are dropped on an island where a damaged US TBF fighter has landed and they take the plane from the injured pilot. Before they can take off they are attacked by a Stegosaurus and kill it with the planes rockets. Taking the plane, they attempt to drop a bomb on a Japanese warship, however Japanese fighter planes heavily damage to TBF and prevent it's release hatch from dropping it's payload. However, the Baby Dino flies in for the rescue, opening the hatch with it's mouth and dropping the bomb on the Japanese ship, destroying it.

With the threat over, the duo land the plane and are once again met by the Baby Dino, whom Morgan reluctantly agrees is the only Dinosaur that is their friend.
