Synopsis for War that Time Forgot: "Island of Thunder!"

Nick Bones was always obsessed with dinosaurs, his fascination with the prehistoric creatures would carry on into his adulthood when he would obtain a job at the local museum. Drafted into the military he would find himself on a tour of the Pacific after six months.

On a mission to blow up an ammo dump on Red Island One, Bones would bemoan the lack of dinosaur bones in any of his military activity. He'd end up eating those words when the plane he is in flies through a strange cloud and they are attacked by a Pterodactyl. They manage to kill the creature with their planes batteries, however it is damaged and they are forced to abandon ship, parachuting to the island below. Bones is amazed to find that they have landed on an island populated with real live dinosaurs.

On the land they gear up their tanks and venture into the jungle where they are attacked by a Triceratops. They manage to kill the beast, but at the expense of their tank being damaged beyond repair. Trekking onward on foot, Bones and his fellow soldiers are attacked by a Dimetrodon, which they kill by feeding it their bazooka.

Next they attempt to stop a giant snake from attacking one of their fellow tank squads, but are knocked off the edge of a cliff. They are saved from a lethal fall when they are scooped out of the air by a Pterodon. In order to not become this creatures next meal they toss grenades into it's face. The dead creature then crashes safely into the water, saving the soldiers from a nasty fall.

Seeing the monetary gain from bringing back the dead Pterodon to the mainland, their hopes are dashed when a fighter jet mistakes the Dinosaur corpse for a living creature and drops a missile on it destroying it utterly. Just then there is a gigantic volcanic eruption that destroys the island and all the Dinosaurs on it.
