Synopsis for the 1st Story

The newly christened Green Lantern, James Kirk, engage in a three-way battle with Sinestro and Khan. The other Green Lanterns recover and are surprise of Kirk being a Green Lantern, and he is wielding his new power ring with ease. The Green Lanterns takes this opportunity to recharge their rings from the Central Power Battery and join in the fight.

In Oa's orbit, the Enterprise is being overwhelm by the Klingon warships. In a last ditch effort to save the ship, Carol and Scotty recharge the Sapphire Ring with their own love. With Carol back in action, she use her power to amplify the Enterprise's shields and weapons, allowing the starship to overcome the Klingons.

Kilowog and Guy subdue the last of Khan's Augment army and, without the Augments' rage, causing Khan's red ring to lose its power. Kirk personally knocks out Khan. Sinestro, however, remains strong due to his bond with the Yellow Entity. But Kirk assist the Green Lanterns in a combined attack with an orbital strike from the Enterprise that finally weaken Sinestro. Though defeated, Sinestro make use of his remaining powers to escape into the Antimatter Universe while promising that he will return. With the battle over, the Green Lanterns properly introduce themselves to Ganthet and his fellow Guardians.

The Enterprise and their allies help in cleaning up the damages done to Oa. John, Guy, and Kilowog depart for Qo'noS to rescue Saint Walker. The Red and Orange Rings are retrieved and kept closely on the Enterprise. Gifted with the knowledge of the Lanterns' reality, the Guardians are adjusting the Manhunters' programming to be more friendlier and making plans to create a new Green Lantern Corps.

With Sinestro still remains a threat, the Enterprise crew plans to do everything to help the Guardians build their Green Lantern Corps. Furthermore, with the existence of the Central Power Battery confirmed, there is without a doubt there are other batteries as well and Hal knows where they are in his reality, thus giving him and the Enterprise a head start to find them.

The Enterprise, with Kirk and Hal in the lead, sets off on a new course for a uncharted star system that Hal finds it worth checking out.
