Kirk's hearing begins with the Salla of Nasgul calling Anan 7 of Eminiar (A Taste of Armageddon) as witness to Kirk's past violations of the Prime Directive. Bela Oxmyx of Iotia (A Piece of the Action) appears to praise and ultimately, embarrass Kirk. Leonard James Akaar (Friday's Child), now High Teer, recalls Kirk's actions to save his life. The Klingon emperor departs for Earth to attend the hearing.
