Synopsis for "Trial and Error!"
The Salla of Nasgul schemes to have his own way. The Klingon emperor testifies at Kirk's hearing, as does Commander Maltz (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock). Blaise also testifies, but gets into a shouting match with Kirk. When Kirk realizes that the Salla is gone, he suspects treachery. Scotty pinpoints an impending detonation and Kirk saves the emperor's life. All charges are dropped. The Enterprise goes back to work, but the Klingons still have a highly placed spy in Starfleet.
