  • It is revealed that, instead of dying in the cinema, the Shade was sent to the Shadowlands.
    • This seems to imply that the Shade is truly unable to die.
    • As Eclipso tries to merge Earth-2 and the Shadowlands, the Shade is able to return to the Earth.
  • After a fight with the JSA and its allies, Eclipso is imprisoned in a magical toast which was conjured by the Thunderbolt.
  • Cameron Mahkent discovers his metahuman heritage.

  • The Shade mentions that Solomon Grundy has the ability to resurrect himself if he's buried in the right place. It is a reference to the Slaughter Swamp where, in the comics, Cyrus Gold became the undead Solomon Grundy after being murdered and buried there.
  • Bridget and James Chapel suggest that Beth's new suit could be yellow and black, a nod to her comic counterpart's suit colors.
  • The marquee on Blue Valley's movie theatre displays a showing of Prince Ra-Man. It was previously The Adventures of Mark Merlin, referencing Mark Merlin's reincarnation as Prince Ra-Man in the comics.
