Steve Trevor was a USAAF pilot whose plane was drawn off course to crash on Themyscira by a ritual intended to draw an innocent to the mystical island to sacrifice.

History

Steve was rescued by Princess Diana before those plotting his death could find and sacrifice him. She hid him in a cove and tried to find a way to sneak him off the island, but he was discovered before she could secret him away. She fought for the right to determine his fate as he had been framed for the death of Alcippe and even those not in on the sacrificial plot were calling for his execution.
