Steve Lieber (b. May 19, 1967) is a comic book artist.
Professional History
Steve Lieber is an American comic book illustrator. He is an Eisner Award winner in 2000 for his work on the Oni Press's tilte Whiteout: Melt. Lieber began his career in 1992 working for Now Comics on their title The Twilight Zone. His first work for DC Comics was in 1993 on the Hawkman Annual. He would continue to work on titles as Hawkman and Detective Comics. Lieber has also worked for Marvel Comics and Dark Horse comics.
Personal History
Lieber was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Allderdice high school and then studied at Pennsylvania State University but he dropped. He continued his studies in The Kubert School for cartoonist in New Jersey.
Liebert is married to the novelist Sara Ryan and they currently live in Portland, Oregon. Lieber is a member of Periscope Studio.
