Synopsis for "WildStorm Rising, Part 9"

In Nicaragua, Stormwatch and Backlash battle Helspont and his Daemonite minions.  Meanwhile, Synergy briefs the UN Executive Council on recent events.  Unsure of Stormwatch's ability to defeat Helspont, they tell her to consider releasing the Warguard.  Elsewhere, Defile observes as Helspont defeats the team and decides to intervene personally to acquire Helspont's key.  The Council orders the Warguard released.  Despot slaughters the Skywatch team that frees him and escapes to the Moon with the rest of the Warguard.  Back in Nicaragua, Diva informs Strafe of his father's escape, and Stormwatch regroups in order to go after Helspont.  Nearby, Union uses his powers to fully excavate the crashed alien ship.  Just as Stormwatch, the WildC.A.T.s, and Helspont arrive, Savant recognizes it not as the lost Daemonite ship, but the lost Kherubim ship.
