StormWatch #37 is an issue of the series StormWatch (Volume 1) with a cover date of July, 1996.

Synopsis for the 1st Story

After Flashpoint's betrayal of the team, Henry Bendix decides to take a more active role in guiding world events. He regroups the superhumans of Stormwatch into three teams: Stormwatch Prime, StormWatch Red, and Stormwatch Black, each intended to serve a different role in maintaining global order. Prime deals with superhuman threats; Red carries out acts of sanction against criminals; Black operates as a covert, secretive investigation team.

Bendix also changes the roster of Stormwatch, introducing three new members: Jenny Sparks, a woman who can control electricity and has been alive since the year 1900 without aging; Jack Hawksmoor, a man who was the subject of numerous alien experiments in his childhood and now possesses many superhuman abilities which only function in an urban environment; and Rose Tattoo, a mysterious woman who is a superhumanly effective markswoman. Several members, including Union and Undertow, are dropped from the team. Others, such as Battalion and Synergy, are moved to administrative positions in Stormwatch. The UN Special Security Council begins to distance itself from Stormwatch and takes a distinctly antagonistic posture towards it.

Afterwards, two of the new teams (Prime, composed of Winter, Fuji, and Hellstrike; and Red, consisting of Flint, Fahrenheit, and Rose Tattoo) are sent to Germany to deal with a rogue superhuman, who calls himself 'Father'.
