Synopsis for "Assault on Precinct 18"

Defile examines the captive PHD members and decides on what he plans to do with them. He has Lady Decadence to possess Black Betty's body; he tasked Amadeus to torture Paris with his sonic blasts until he breaks and tell him the vulnerabilities of all Stormwatch Prime personnel; he gives Machnist a chance to switch his loyalties to him after stabbing his chest and giving him the time to make a device to save himself from bleeding to death; Fahrenheit is kept alive to watch all her teammates die before she does as payment for betraying her team. Monstrosity is already following Defile so he can ravish Gorgeous after he kills everyone in the Precinct. However, Defile has yet to find John Doran. Cooler, who was tasked to find the officer, informs Defile that they will find him and expresses her belief that the regular human is now being feasted on by Defile's Daemonite minions.

Contrarily to Cooler's words, John and his fellow police officers are slaughtering Daemonites with minimum casualties through sheer gunfire. After wiping out Defile's minions, John sends some of his officers to escape the building through the basement and contact Stormwatch Prime while he and the others continue their progress to retake the station. They soon find Machinist and have him patched up by a medic.

Paris endures Amadeus' sonic screams until he relents. But he is merely feigning in which Amadeus drops his guard and allows Paris to rip Amadeus' throat with his bare teeth. John, Dino and the others just arrive on time to see Paris' handiwork before they free him.

Meanwhile, Gorgeous wakes up in front of Monstrosity who then tells her that they are going to have "fun" together. But Gorgeous, being a master manipulator and psychologist, tells him that he is pathetic in calling this fun and offers to show him the "kind of night [he] never imagined" in exchange he turns against Defile. Monstrosity is convinced by her offer and he attacks Defile without warning. Distracted by the Monstrosity's sudden backstab, Fahrenheit breaks and subdues Cooler through normal hand-to-hand combat before sending smokes into her lungs.

Defile stops the Monstrosity by forcing him to transform back into Dr. Shaw before he is joined by the Decadence-possessed Black Betty, Attica, and Stricture to face Gorgeous and Fahrenheit. But the battle is quickly joined by John and his team, and turns in the PHD's favor. Machinist shuts down Attica's tech with a device he cobbled up from some of Attica's tech he gave him. Paris and John forced Stricture to devour grenades. Decadence is shocked by a taser courtesy of John in which the electric shock breaks Decadence’s control over Betty, who then easily takes over Decadence in turn and uses her Daemonite physiology to attack Defile off-guard. Realizing that he is losing, Defile drags Decadence out of Betty and they make their escape just as Stormwatch Prime arrives. The surviving supervillains are captured, except for Attica, who is freed by the Machinist as a personal favor.

The next day, Fahrenheit admits her guilt to Jackson King and John for working for Defile after he offered her a chance to get her powers back. Jackson then informs Lauren that she is not at fault for turning against Stormwatch, saying that he had discovered mental blocks placed in her mind by Defile which allows him to manipulate her; she is not responsible for her actions and therefore she will receive no punishment. Instead Jackson assigns her to therapy and counseling. After a very much relieved Lauren left, Jackson reveals to John that everything he said to Fahrenheit was a lie. Defile did not control her, she actually made a bad decision due to being clinically depressed. Despite what she did, Jackson sees the good in her and that no one died. He knows revealing the truth would tear the PHD apart and he purposely shared this with John knowing that he is a capable leader who can keep an eye on Lauren. Furthermore, John proved himself in leading PHD to prevail against Defile's assault and turning it from an idea into reality.
