Synopsis for "Super-Athlete from Earth"
Hank Bradford dreams of becoming a top athlete but he has limited athletic abilities. One day he encounters an alien spaceship in the woods. He meets an alien named Rhoran Yo that seems to be blind. He tells Bradford about a radioactive meteorite located on the planet Sirius that must be removed within nine hours. Unless it is taken away it will doom every living thing on the planet. He enlists Bradfords help to accomplish the mission. He instructs Bradford on how to operate his ship for the trip to Sirius. The alien then steps into a ray chamber called a mechanical doctor to restore the injured cells in his eyes thus allowing his sight to return. After an eight hour trip, the ship finally approaches Sirius. The landing is rough but the ship is intact. The alien then instructs Bradford to enter the ray chamber to build his muscle mass which he will need for the mission. Bradford steps out and finds that his body has been transformed into that of a muscular athlete. He then travels through the planet on foot and finds the meteorite while using his newly found athletic abilities to navigate through the hazards he encounters. The meteor is destroyed and the alien rewards Bradford by gifting him the mechanical doctor ray chamber. Bradford vows to use it for the benefit of mankind.
