Synopsis for Star Hawkins: "The Case of the Blonde Bombshell"
Ilda learned that Star had found a new love in a woman named Lulu Lacey. However, Star claimed that Lulu was merely a client. Then, Lulu left and told Star to meet her at the Copaca-Planet Club.
Ilda was worried that Star was hooked on Lulu. Later, at the club, Lulu told Star that she needed a private detective to pay off a blackmailer. Simultaneously, Ilda was disguised as a waitress and “accidentally” spilled a beverage on Lulu. Star was to go to Mars to deliver the money. Meanwhile, Ilda tailed Lulu's car to a building. Ilda overheard Lulu telling some criminals that Star took the bait.
The next day, in order to prevent Star from getting on the shuttle to Mars, Ilda faked an electric breakdown so that he would take her to the robot recharge station, while Lulu took the envelope of “money” with her to the criminals, only to learn that there was no money in it. The boss Yarlo ordered his men to go after Star, who was in his office. Ilda attacked the Martian thugs and revealed to Star a letter proving that Lulu was a spy for the Martian government.
Star and Ilda stormed the spies' hideout and encountered the spymaster Kratun. Before Kratun could shoot Star, Lulu intervened and blew powder into his face. Then, government agents arrived to arrest the Martians. Moments later, the agents revealed that Lulu was actually a double agent working for them before the woman shared a kiss with Star.

Notes
- The Martians in Star Hawkins' story are portrayed differently than the people of Martian Manhunter. Since this story takes place in the future (not before 2080), Mars was likely repopulated with a different race.
Trivia
- Copaca-Planet Club is probably a parody of Copacabana, a New York City nightclub founded in 1940 and closed in 2020.
