• "The Time Capsule From 1,000,000 BC": Again John Broome wrote a story around the recordings of a supercivilization on Earth from 1 million years ago, which was destroyed by a radioactive cloud. A similar plot was used by him in All-Star Comics Vol 1 49. However in this issue the story takes place on Earth-One, with the supercivilization being destroyed by a natural radioactive cloud, while in All-Star Comics the plot was set on Earth-Two, and the radioactive cloud was caused by the Fire People.
• "The Secret of the Life Ray": Walter Jones is only named in the cover; the story itself doesn't mention his name.
