- "The Radioactive Invasion of Earth" shows the first appearance of Titanians in a DC comic book. Here, they are featured as purple-skinned, bald aliens.
- "The Toy That Saved The World": Brainiac is an advanced computer here. In Real World, the "Brainiac Computer Kit" was a toy computer created by Edmund Berkeley (and based on the Geniac) that predated the creation of the comic book character. The Miniac in the story is a pastiche of these toy computers.
