- Strato was created by Grant Morrison and Simone Bianchi, first appearing in Seven Soldiers: Shining Knight #2. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Strato first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in New Super-Man #9 by Gene Luen Yang and Viktor Bogdanovic.
