Suicide Squad is a 2016 superhero movie written and directed by David Ayer, based on the supervillain team of the same name. It is the third film in the DC Extended Universe, and was followed up by The Suicide Squad.

Synopsis for "Suicide Squad (Movie)"

A U.S. intelligence officer, Amanda Waller assembles a team of criminals and villains including Harley Quinn, Deadshot, El Diablo, Killer Croc, Captain Boomerang and Slipknot to go on a mission to battle a dark powerful entity. When allowing the six villains out of the Belle Reve prison, Amanda decides to put bomb chips in their necks that can be activated with a push of a button just in case they don't obey.
