Synopsis for "Parasite"

Inside the Metropolis LexCorp tower, El Diablo comes face-to-face with other Squad member, Parasite, this time however, Amanda Waller is in control of the monster. Overpowering El Diablo she forces her way into Chato's memories.

Waller and Diablo flash back to an event two weeks prior in the Mexican desert. Diablo and Uncle Sam were sent on a mission to capture the invisible villain Xolotl though the two were taken down quickly. They go further back in Diablo's memory to the mission briefing inside Checkmate where Waller suggests that Checkmate too are deceiving Diablo. They return to the Mexican desert as El Diablo carries Uncle Sam from off the ground and towards their escaped target. Waller notices a spirit present, that of Lazarus Lane which Diablo recognizes as an ominous signal.

They catch up to Xolotl on the Mexican/American Border where a border guarding robot targets Diablo with heat seeking missiles that he uses to destroy the machine. Checkmate then retrieved him and he asks to be sent to LexCorp to retrieve the robot's designer, Professor Strzelecki.

Waller and Diablo return to the present where Waller threatens to kill her former tool but before she can the spirit of Lazarus Lane erupts from his body and disables Parasite. In his ear Checkmate asks him to surrender to the police but a woman appears in the room calling herself Azucar and asks Diablo to accompany her to Gotham City where they will find the answers to who has been deceiving whom.

To escape Azucar explains that they both must play dead, something Diablo is unable to do, though this does not stop her from "killing" Diablo.

Synopsis for "What Goes Around Comes Around, Part 2"

Captain Boomerang finds himself being levitated above the South American jungle tree tops by the resistant metahumans led by Breaker who coerces him into joining their battle against El Jaguar. In Illinois the Squad wonder about Boomerang while fighting off hoards of zombies when Rick Flag receives a message from Amanda Waller telling him that the Squad's next mission is to retrieve Boomerang.

Outside El Jaguar's compound Breaker reflects on how they made her but ordered her death thinking the process was unsuccessful. With their guards down she launched into an assault and broke free. In the present Boomerang takes down the guards and one of Breaker's allies, Volt, disrupts the security system leaving El Jaguar vulnerable. They spot the dictator stood on his balcony, an obvious trap, but Breaker does not notice and attempts to kill him, hitting an invisible feedback wall in the process and becoming temporarily immobile.

With the alarm now sounding the metahuman army rush out to meet the rebels, noticing that El Jaguar is controlling the metas Boomerang redirects a metahuman's geomancy powers to destroy the balcony, forcing Jaguar onto the floor and away from the barrier. Boomerang gets Boost to throw him into the air where he throws a boomerang around Jaguar and back into the controlling machine, thereby freeing the metahumans from his control.

With the fighting coming to a cease, Breaker uses her powers to explode Jaguar's skull just as the Squad arrive. As they go to leave, Breaker asks if she can join their team to which they explain how they are not the good guys and fly off, leaving her behind.
