Synopsis for "Blood & Snow, Part One"
Mari McCabe, a.k.a. Vixen, has returned to her job as a professional model after her stint in the Justice League. She is working on a Caribbean photo shoot where she takes a moment to go swimming. When she gets back to shore, Vixen finds everyone on the crew, including the other models, have been gunned down.
Vixen appeals to the U.S. government, who turns the matter over to Task Force X. Amanda Waller debriefs the Suicide Squad that the modelling crew were murdered for inadvertently taking some pictures of an illegal drug deal. Vixen has also gotten in touch with Speedy due to his experience in the drug enforcement community. Speedy explains that the smugglers work for Xavier Cujo, a Colombian drug lord. Since the American legal system cannot extradite Cujo due to his powerful influence in Colombia, the Suicide Squad can go after Cujo illegally. As Colonel Flag is currently assigned on another mission, Waller temporarily assigns Nightshade to lead the Colombia mission.
Meanwhile in Washington, Derek Tolliver visit the office of Senator Joseph Cray and offer to help the Senator's re-election in exchange for becoming his aide. He then begin to tell Cray about the Suicide Squad.
The Squad plan a three-pronged attack against Cujo. One team attacks Cujo's fortress, another raze his stock of cocaine, and the last will assassinate Cujo himself. The team assigned to attack the fortress are almost compromised when they are discovered by communist guerrillas, who guard Cujo's plantation. Briscoe commands Sheba in taking out some of the guerrillas before everyone board the helicopter and proceeding with their attack. However, they are then surprise to find out that Cujo's cartel is supported by jet fighters.
