Synopsis for "Almost a Good Idea"

A new Suicide Squad has been recruited to rescue an abducted scientist in Iceland. As the former Justice League Antarctica lands, they find that a compound on the island that has dead guards and a derelict security system. A young boy walks up to Big Sir and says that he's a "popper" and immediately explodes, killing a Squad member. Remotely, Bulldozer tells the group to push forward and as they enter, they find even more dead guards as well as many more Poppers. Multi-Man has developed the power to shrink them, so they are inconsequential. As the group moves further, they see their target Preston Paddington Bayer in a large room flanked by many more Poppers that are not actual children, but the biological clones of Eve, a grotesque monster created by Bayer's experiments. The group is ambushed, and Clock King is riddled with bullets, as is Cluemaster, who dies fleeing. Only Major Disaster survives, after instigating an earthquake that collapses the building on Eve and the Poppers. The relays all of this information to Bulldozer and his boss, an apparently resurrected Frank Rock.
