Synopsis for "The Entrance Fee"

In Washington, D.C. Amanda Waller prepares for a hearing with Congress about the recent events with Rustam, [1] she is accosted on the way in by a reporter who is covering the trial. Before Waller enters the chambers she receives a call from the Detroit Surveillance team informing her that her daughter, Coretta, is pregnant. Across the world, Harley Quinn leads the Suicide Squad in their attack on Direktor Karla in Bulgaria. The Squad had commandeered a military cargo plane but with the pilot refusing to give out the landing code Enchantress gives Cosmonut the ability to speak though his allegiance lies with the enemy. Soon the plane is shot out of the sky.

With the fuselage on fire and the plane crashing Enchantress casts a spell which transforms the cargo plane into a colossal green dragon which sears through the Bulgarian troops. The team safely disembark and comment on Harley's new, more serious, personality. Watching from above, Cosmonut pledges his allegiance to Direktor Karla and squares up to the Squad.

Waller meanwhile is being grilled by a Congressman who blames her for the acts of terrorism carried out by Rustam. He questions her motives and mostly her loyalty; instead of working for the President she instead should be working for The People.

Cosmonut begins to charge at the now megalomaniacal Enchantress who has grown drunk with power, he charges through her and knocks her unconscious. He then turns to charge through Katana and Deadshot and turns towards Harley Quinn who soon stops Cosmonut's rampage. After knocking the loyalist to the ground she attempts to convince him to abandon the Direktor but ultimately cannot stop her hammer from breaking the Cosmonut.

Inside the base the Squad find nothing, the base had been abandoned except for a colossal bomb. Unable to defuse the bomb Harley orders Enchantress be woken up but Killer Croc refuses as she is badly hurt. With no time wasted Harley orders Deadshot to shoot Croc between the eyes, though she is not optimistic about their survival.

Waller, on her way back to Belle Reve, notices that the plane's trajectory had changed and soon Gulag appears to torture Waller. She wakes up tied to a chair as Direktor Karla walks out of the shadows and reveals his plans to save the world.
