After being released General Zod launches an all-out assault on the Suicide Squad. Quickly dispatching the weaker members he meets his match in Katana as Harley Quinn begins to run away but succeeds only in capturing the wrath of a small army. She returns to the others who discover a weapons cabinet.

After mowing down the troops she and Deadshot meet the villains behind the prison, the Annihilation Brigade.

Synopsis for "Choose"

Amanda Waller sits down Katana for her review. She covers Katana's origins as a loving housewife whose husband's brother - Takeo - went through a dishonouring as he loved Tatsu also, and somehow came into contact with the Soultaker Sword - which has the power to reject a host and drive them insane.

Takeo took the sword and killed his brother and Katana's children, then razed their house down. Katana returned and fought him to the death, eventually stealing the sword from him and, as it accepted her, she pierced his heart with it, later finding herself heading to the Suicide Squad at the voices recommendation.
