Notes
- The Retaliators were last seen in Justice League Incarnate #1 where they were defeated by Tartarus.
- The deceased American Crusader is replaced by another man (possibly his sidekick Silver Eagle) which may be a reference to Sam Wilson becoming Captain America after the death of Steve Rogers.
- Behemoth seems to have come back to life which may also be a reference to Hulk's One Below All-granted resurrection abilities.
- Machinehead, who died back in Infinite Frontier #6, is also replaced by another armored man.
- Wundajin is mispelled as Wunda Jin
Trivia
- The Lightning Strikes team is obviously a pastiche of the Marvel's Thunderbolts.
- Thrill Kill is a pastiche of Punisher
- Dead Red is a pastiche of the Red Hulk
- Thing-Man is an obvious parody of Man-Thing, a character with many similarities to Swamp Thing.
- Blood Pouch appears to be a pastiche of Deadpool, who is himself a takeoff of Deathstroke
- Ambush Bug mentions reading Bloodsport's words with a British accent. This is a reference to the DCEU Bloodsport being portrayed by the British actor, Idris Elba.
- During the Suicide Squad and the Retaliators' clash, Ambush Bug disguises himself as Stan Lee and jokes about Amalgam Comics being cool.
