Synopsis for "The Brutality Malady"
30 years after a big earthquake hit Los Angeles, the city was left to ruins and the city was divided into 2 sections: New Angeles, home of the upper class, where the lower class resides in Lost Angeles. The main source of entertainment involves enhanced men fighting to the death in a new sport known as Suiciders.
New Angeles:
Shelia Sutter has a brief face to face interview with "The Saint". Shelia was curious if he was a "first gen" or born after the "Big One". The Saint told her the truth is far less interesting than one could imagine.
The Saint of Suicides and The Reaper battle in a match of Suiciders, though The Saint defeats Reaper with much ease.
Lost Angeles:
At Lost Angeles, two men escorts two citizens of Lost Angeles to New Angeles through a tunnel. One of the men warned them to leave their bags as the patrol guards would shoot them on sight if seen with one.
The two men bags the two to keep the passage into New Angeles a secret. As they reach the border, they quickly halted at the sight of two patrol guards. One of which threw out his wedding ring, though regrets so and quickly goes back to grab it. The three run off at the same time and are quickly caught. The two patrol guards execute the two as the two men hides in the shadows.
