Summer Gleeson was a WGBS reporter and host of Gotham Insider.
History
As the top reporter in Gotham City, Summer was chosen to deliver the humanitarian award to Ferris Boyle, the CEO of GothCorp, on a grand ceremony. However, the act was crashed by Mister Freeze and Summer witnessed how the villain froze Boyle almost to death, until he was stopped by Batman. The Dark Knight captured Freeze and also delivered evidence to Summer about Boyle's past crimes that would strip him of any award.[1]
Her position as a public figure attracted the attention of important people in Gotham, as well as that of the criminals. Summer was kidnapped by Joker,[2], Kyodai Ken,[3] and Lock-Up.[4] On all the occasions, she was rescued by Batman.
