Sunny South was a member of the Holliday Girls.

History

Sunny was raised in a bayou mansion in South Haven, Florida that can only be reached by boat. While there are alligators in the waters around South Haven, there is a canal and lock that Sunny and her friends swim in without concern. Her cousins Globe and Vance Trotter keep elephants at the mansion. For college Sunny moved to Holliday College in Washington, D.C. where she joined the Holliday Girls.

In 1950 Sunny's family became the center of a murder mystery when one of her cousins murdered her father. She was home at the time with several of the Holliday Girls over, and nearly became a casualty herself while investigating the murder. The murderer was caught by Wonder Woman.

• The Earth-Two Colonel South who fathered Sunny has no known relation to the Earth-Two Colonel South that is the father of Bunny South, the secretary at Penniless Palmer's detective agency.
