Synopsis for Challengers of the Unknown: "The Man Who Stole the Future"
This story is reprinted from Challengers of the Unknown #8.
The Challengers are visited by their honorary member June and her friend Marie, who has inherited an ancient castle in Mordania, in which she has found, in a secret compartment, a scroll. The Challengers are intrigued by the scroll, and when they decode it, they decide to check the castle out. In the catacombs beneath the old heap, they find a box, open it, and get sprayed with an alchemical youth serum. Ace and Rocky are rejuvenated back to about junior-high-school age. While the team is distracted, Drabny enters the room, steals the box, and escapes through a hidden door. When the Challengers pursue him on foot, Drabny uses his Elemental Helmet to open the ground under their feet. He gets away.
Drabny rejuvenates himself and takes over Mordania, residing now in the royal palace, another ancient castle set within the capital city. Prof and Red infiltrate this base but get captured. Mary, June, Ace, and Rocky then rescue them from Drabny's prison. They recover the age reducing spray, seemingly left behind in great haste by Drabny, and escape from the palace into the capital city. Drabny has left town, with some troops, to confront some government troops, out in the hills. Conventional tanks approach Drabny's position, where he has at least five "Star Cars", armed with futuristic weapons. The Challengers arrive before the Mordanian Tank Corps, and amid some very kinetic fighting, in which some heavy tanks are lofted skyward, Ace Morgan manages to get aboard Drabny's personal vehicle, and douse him with Youth Serum. Morgan dons the Elemental Helmet and gets the levitated government tanks safely back on the ground, then captures Drabny, alive. The Challs give him a brisk spanking before turning him over to the authorities.
Afterward, Ace Morgan tells Marie and June that Drabny is imprisoned, the Youth Serum supply is exhausted, and the helmet and goggles have been destroyed.

Synopsis for Challengers of the Unknown: "The Wizard of Time"
This story is reprinted from Challengers of the Unknown #4.
The Challengers of the Unknown are called in to investigate an apparent Greek soldier who has appeared in modern times and stolen a plane and other artifacts. They learn that he was summoned by the "wizard of time". Taken to the wizard, they learn that he is a scientist named Darius Tiko, who finished the work of the lat Dr. Hobart Reinmetz. When asked what he did with the objects that were stolen, Tiko explains that he gave them to people from other times. However, before the Challengers can apprehend him, he disappears in his time cube. Finding a spare cube, the Challengers decide to go to the different eras to recover the stolen items. Traveling to ancient Greece, Ace and Rocky clash with Greek soldiers to recover the stolen airplane, however the plane crashes and the two have to face an approaching war army. In Ancient Egypt, Prof and Red try to convince Rhamis to give them back the telescope, however when a sect of socerers attack, the telescope is destroyed. Red and Prof manage to escape and use the Time Cube to return to Greece and save Rocky and Ace before they are trampled by the Greek army.
The entire group traveling to the 15th Century they meet Nostradamus, who tells them that Tiko only came seeking mathematical formulas to probe the future. Using it to rewire their time machine, the Challengers travel to the future after Tiko. Arriving in the future the Challengers are easily subdued by Tiko using future technology, however the scuffle is stopped by local law enforcement who try all present.
Finding them innocent of any crimes in the future, they are told to go back, the future police informing them that they will return all the stolen items and that the other time cube has been confiscated. Returning to their own time, the Challengers take Tiko back to the main land, and as they leave the Time Cube explodes.
