Synopsis for "Battle of the Gods"
Aphrodite asks Wonder Woman for help regarding an earthquake. After Wonder Woman deals with the disaster the other Superfriends arrive and they are all praised by Aphrodite. Hera takes it as blasphemy against the Gods of Olympus and challenges Aphrodite's praise; As result, Zeus gives the Superfriends tasks based on Greek mythology: Aquaman must find the Golden Fleece, Batman and Robin just solve the Riddle of The Sphinx, Wonder Woman must get a necklace from Medusa, and Superman must capture the Minotaur. Aquaman fights a invisible opponent to gain the Fleece; Batman solves the Riddle ("something that builds up castles and tears them down. Make some blind and other see". Answer: sand[1]); Wonder Woman causes Medusa to see her reflection in her bracelets causing her to turn to stone. After they have completed their tasks Hera appears and causes an even bigger earthquake. But it turns out that in this form she is mortal as they are and Wonder Woman saves her. It is then revealed that Hera triggered the first earthquake as a way to lure the Superfriends to Caltos and prove they were unworthy.
