- The Monster of Dr. Droid: In an effort to help mankind (so they won't have to work or think) Dr. Droid creates an android. Trivia
- The Monster of Dr. Droid segment makes several indirect references to the Universal Frankenstein movies: Dr. Droid sounds like Boris Karloff (who played the monster in 1931's Frankenstein), the android is passive when confronting a little girl, and the replace the brain idea is straight out of 1942's The Ghost of Frankenstein.
